This piece is going to be at the top of my portfolio becuae it is a very farmilar semi-aquatic animal. it is clear he is at the surface with a very photorealaistic face. There are so many aquatic creatures but only a select few are kept as pets, most of which are freshwater meaning they inhabit areas above sea level. These few domesticated aquatic beings will be the clearest images with the most detail becuase they are the most common and most studied. the deeper into the ocean we penetrate the more abstract life and my art will become.

this is the second piece that will appear in my portfolio, it is another common pet. His reflective scales are shimmering under the LED light in most home fish tanks, highlighting the detail of his small body and flowing fins.

while goldfish are the most common pet fish, this is an odd type. it is a strange looking creature, which highlights that even farmiliar life can be odd and abstract. it is still a commonly seen animal so it is a very clear image.

Jelly Fish

this is the fist ocean animal in my portfolio, tey usualy dwell towards the surface of the ocean, and wash up on beaches frequently. it is a rather clear painting but the monochromatic color pallete is showing the vastness of the ocean.
